Join Marilyn Wattman-Feldman Tuesday night (Mar. 9) for a public reading of her first play, Chemonologues. The dramatic work is based on interviews with cancer survivors, a story very close to Marilyn as she, too, is a breast-cancer survivor since December 2000.
The subject matter of this reading varies, with stories revolving around chemotherapy and other cancer-related topics, all to create a better understanding of the hope, struggle, and survival affiliated with the disease. The reading is free to the public, but donations are accepted on behalf of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life (R), which Marilyn participates in on April 23, 2010, in Sanford, FL.
Chemonologues, directed by Julia Gagne, former Co-President of WPI, has been funded in part by United Arts of Central Florida. It features a well-known local cast that includes Brett Carson, Nicole Carson, Marsh Collins, Saralyn Collins, Beth Cunningham, Stephen DeWoody, Cameron Gagne, WPI’s Kathleen Lindsey, Marylin McGinnis, and Lyndol Michael.
Date: Tuesday, March 9, 2010
Time: 7:15pm – 10:00pm
Location: Theatre Downtown @ Orlando, FL
